2006年于南京大学物理系获得物理学学士学位;2011年于美国亚利桑那州立大学获得生物物理学博士学位; 导师是Stuart Lindsay教授;2011年至2015年在英国牛津大学从事博士后研究工作,导师是Hagan Bayley教授。 2015年7月应聘南京大学化学化工学院教授。现从事主要科研方向为具有仿生学概念的单分子纳米孔生物传感器的新仪器、新技术的开发以及基于纳米孔的单分子显微成像技术。其中在纳米孔单分子成像方面具有原创性技术, 具有国际前沿研发水平。目前已于国际权威期刊Nature Methods,Nature Nanotechnology,Nature Communications,Journal of the American Chemical Society, Science Advances,Angewandte Chemie International Edition, ACS Nano, Nano Letters等期刊发表论文若干。 其中以第一作者发表Nature Nanotechnology 2篇,并入选2010年12月刊封面;以唯一通讯作者发表Nature Methods 1篇, Nature Nanotechnology 1篇,并入选2022年9月刊封面。已授权国际专利两项、国内专利1项,申请PCT专利若干项。
