Research Summary
  • Welcome to Peng Zheng’s Single-Molecule Metalloprotein group at Nanjing University, China. Our group focuses on the study of metalloprotein by AFM-based single-molecule force spectroscopy (SMFS). Metal is an essential ingredient for life. More than half of the protein contains metal and be classified as metalloprotein. We are fascinated by its various structural and functional roles for the biological system. And our ultimate goal is to use SMFS to explore these extraordinary roles and mechanisms at the single molecule level.
