Imaging of biomolecules in living cells and living animals is a practical strategy for investigation of the biomolecules as well as for cancer detection. We are now developing multi-functional probes that can target cancer-related miRNAs, proteases or other biomolecules for fluorescence imaging of them with high specificity and sensitivity. (Chem.
