Dr. Shaolin Zhu recieved his B.S. degree from Nanjing University in 2005 and completed his Ph.D. degree in Organic Chemistry from Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry with Prof. Dawei Ma. In 2010, he joined the group of Prof. David W. C. MacMillan at Princeton University as a postdoctoral associate. Then he moved to Boston in 2013 and joined Buchwald group at MIT as a postdoctoral fellow. He began his independent career at Nanjing University in September 2015. His lab is interested in addressing problems in synthetic organic chemistry and asymmetric catalysis through novel strategies and new catalysis.
