Synthetic chemistry affects the human society and changes our daily life. It provides us with new medicines, materials, and energy. As organic chemists, we have the advantage of designing and creating de novo complex molecular architectures. Our group focuses on solving the long-standing problems encountered at the frontline of organic synthesis and sustainable energy, we are especially attracted to the where established approaches and methods reach their limits and the development of new solutions and approaches is highly desirable and necessary. Hope in the near future, with the molecular printer and copier to produce any reasonable molecular we want, organic chemists could enjoy life and only need to work in front of a computer.
