侯文华，男，教授，博士生导师。1966年6月出生于江苏省张家港市，1981年9月进入南京大学化学系，1985年7月获学士学位，1988年7月获硕士学位；1988年7月至1990年9月在中科院南京土壤研究所从事土壤物理化学研究工作，任助理研究员；1990年9月重回南京大学化学系学习，1993年9月获博士学位，后留校工作至今。2000年被聘为教授，2001年被聘为博士生导师。其中，1997年8月至1998年5月美国纽约州立大学Albany分校化学系访问学者，2003年4月至2003年9月美国加州大学San Diego分校访问学者。主持和主要参加完成了国家自然科学基金和973子课题等各类项目共计15项；已发表研究论文200余篇，曾获教育部自然科学奖一等奖和科技进步二等奖各1次、国家级教学成果二等奖1次、江苏省高等教育教学成果特等奖1次和一等奖2次、霍英东教育基金全国优秀青年教师奖、宝钢教育基金全国优秀教师奖、第二届南京大学教学名师、第一届南京大学“赵世良”讲座教授、南京大学青年教师学术研究奖、南京大学青年教师育才奖、南京大学青年教师樱松贰等奖和南京大学化学化工学院“中诚信教书育人奖”优秀奖。
