In 2017, Dr. Bie Zijun was awarded the Student Excellence Award by the North American Chinese Chromatography Society (CACA). Due to visa reasons, Bie Zijun failed to go to the United States to receive the award. President of CACA Dr. Chuping Luo and the sponsor of the award went to NTU to present the award to Zijun Bie.
