Yajun Ji received his Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from Nanjing University in 2011 under the supervision of Professor Junjie Zhu and Hegen Zheng. During 2008–2010, Yajun JI has been awarded as cholarship under the China Scholarship Council to pursue his study in the United States. He worked as a joint Ph.D. student in the Chemistry Department at Case Western Reserve University. Currently, he is an instructor at the College of Science in the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology. His research focuses on the synthesis of novel nanostructured materials and their application in photocatalysis and photovoltaic performance.
