PS: Rui Ban was born in 1981. He is an assistant professor in the school of chemistry and environmental science, Guizhou Minzu university. He received his Ph.D. in Chemistry (2014) under the supervision of Prof. Jianrong Zhang and Jun-Jie Zhu in the Nanjing university. His major research focuses on the synthesis and applications of semiconductor quantum dots and associated multifunctional nanomaterials.
