Invited by Professor Leyong Wang and Associate Professor Juli Jiang, Professor Lutz F. Tietze of Georg-August-University Gottingen, Tammannstr.2D-37077 Gottingen, Germany, visited Nanjing on 27 June to give a lecture. Professor Lutz F. Tietze, a former president of the German Chemical Society, is an expert on cancer drugs. At 10:30 a.m. on Monday, 27 June, Prof. Lutz F. Tietze gave a postgraduate special report entitled Novel Drugs and Targets for a Selective Treatment of Cancer in Lecture Hall H201, Jiangwenruo, Xianlin Chemistry Building. Professor Lutz F. Tietze gave a detailed introduction to his research group's work on anticancer drugs, which inspired the members of his research group to have a heated discussion with the professor and introduced us to a series of preface cancer therapies.
