Invited by Professor Leyong Wang and Associate Professor Juli Qiang, Prof. Christoph A. Schalley（Freie Universität Berlin）visited Nanjing on Sept. 20th and gave an academic report. Christoph A. Schalley Mainly research on supramolecular gels, and devote to the research of self-healing materials. At 10:00 on Sept. 21th(Wednesday), Prof. Christoph A. Schalley gave a special report for graduate students entitled Supramolecular Gels: From Superhydrophobic and Slippery Surfaces to Directional Transport in the meeting room H201 of Xianlin Chemistry Building. He introduced us in detail about the current application prospects of supramolecular gels, which is convincing. In the afternoon of the same day, Prof. Christoph A. Schalley and members of the research group had a group discussion at E508 about the related issues of supramolecular gels.
