On April 18, 2012, Professor Jonathan W. Steed (Homepage) of Durham University visited our team. This was the second leg of Professor Steed's China tour.
On The 19th, Professor Steed gave an academic report entitled Supramolecular Gels: Responsive Soft Materials in the lecture hall on the second floor of the library, which attracted wide attention of teachers and students. In the afternoon, Professor Steed participated in the joint group meeting organized by our group, Professor Zhang Yan's research group and Professor Shen Zhen's research group. There were 5 doctors who gave a group report and reported the latest progress of their own research.
On the 21st, Professor Steed participated in the group meeting of our research group and gave affirmation to our work as well as many valuable suggestions. In the afternoon, leave Nanjing for Hangzhou.
