Real-Time Near Infrared Fluorescence Imaging: research tools with the potential for clinical use

2016-03-22

Invited by Professor Ju Li Jiang, Department of Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Chemistry, Professor Donal O 'Shea, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, visited Nanjing on 22 March and gave an academic report. Professor Donal O 'Shea is involved in various studies of fluorescence imaging.

At 10:30 a.m. on March 22, Professor Donal O 'Shea gave a lecture entitled Real-time Near Infrared Imaging:  Postgraduate special report of Research Tools with the Potential for Clinical Use, during which Professor Donal O 'Shea introduced to us the Chinese style of Ireland and the research group's research on fluorescence imaging in detail.  And its breakthrough progress and magnificent prospect in medicine.

At the same time, Professor Donal O 'Shea had an in-depth discussion with the students at the meeting. The detailed and vivid report was well received by everyone.

At 2:30 p.m., Dr. Donal O 'Shea's postdoctoral fellow Wu Dan introduced the synthesis and application of fluorescent dyes in detail in chemistry building B508, and communicated with students about studying in Europe and The United States.
