2017-10-26

Invited by Professor Wang leyong and associate professor Qiang Juli, Prof. Jean Pierre Sauvage (Universit é de Strasbourg, Strasbourg, France) visited Nanjing on October 25 and gave an academic report on October 26.

At 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 26, Prof. Jean Pierre Sauvage gave a special report entitled from chemical topology to molecular machines: the transition metal approach in conference room H201, Xianlin chemical building. Although the meeting started early, the atmosphere was very hot and there were no empty seats. Prof. Jean Pierre Sauvage started from his first article, It explains the emergence and development of molecular machines in detail, which is easy to understand and benefits us a lot. With the opportunity of Prof. Jean Pierre Sauvage, we organized a seminar on Chinese supramolecular chemistry, which invited nearly 20 Chinese supramolecular chemists from universities and scientific research institutes in mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao and Singapore. These professors also had a further discussion with Prof. Jean Pierre Sauvage.
