Invited by Professor Juli Jiang, Professor John A. Gladysz from The Department of Chemistry, Texas A&M University visited Nanjing on April 10 and gave an academic report on April 11. Professor John A. Gladysz was Associate Editor of Chemical Reviews from 1984 to 2010.
Following the lecture on 11th, Professor John A. Gladysz gave A Werner Complexes: A New Class of Chiral Hydrogen Bond Donor Catalysts for Enantioselective Organic Reactions This was the second lecture by Professor John A. Gladysz in Nanjing University, twice in one week, and every time the conference hall was full. Professor Gladysz cited various sources and won cheers from everyone. Later, the members of the research group accompanied Professor John A. Gladysz to visit the scenic spots of Nanjing for further communication.
