Invited by Professor Leyong Wang of organic Chemistry, as part of his trip to China, Prof. Luc Brunsveld from Eindhoven University of Technology, Netherlands, visited nanjing University and the laboratory from October 9 to 11. On Sunday 10th, Professor Brunsveld had an academic discussion with some members of the group and made many valuable comments on our work. A lecture entitled Supramolecular Chemical Biology was given in the lecture hall on the second floor of the library at 10 a.m. on November 11. Interfacing Supramolecular Systems with Proteins and Cells, a graduate student special report, systematically expounded the use of supramolecular chemistry to study chemical biological systems, and reported their latest research progress. Professor Brunsveld's report has broadened our horizons and benefited us a lot. After the meeting, on the afternoon of the 11th, Professor Brunsveld held a discussion with some of the subject teachers and went to the cafe for lunch. During his stay in Nanjing, Brunsveld visited Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, Sun Yat-sen mausoleum, Xuanwu Lake, and Ming City Wall in Nanjing.
