At the invitation of Prof. Leyong Wang, Prof. Yu Liu from Nankai University (Tianjin) visited Nanjing on May 26 and gave an academic report on May 27. Professor yu Liu was funded by the National Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars in 1996, and was selected as a special professor of Cheungkong Scholars Program of the Ministry of Education in 2000, and was selected as one of the Millions of Talents Project of the Ministry of Personnel.
At 16:00 on May 27th (Friday), Professor Yu Liu gave a postgraduate special report entitled Crown ether Compounds with High Bonding ability and their Molecular devices in the Lecture Hall H201 of Jiang Wenruo in the Chemical Building of Xian Lin. He introduced in detail the work of professor Yu Liu's research group on crown ether and other supramolecular macrorings. Professor Yu Liu has a deep and unique understanding of supramolecular chemistry.
