At the invitation of Professor Wang leyong, as part of his trip to China, Professor Julius Rebek J. Loeb of the Scripps Research Institute (USA) visited Nanjing University and the research group on October 29. Professor Rebek is an internationally renowned supramolecular chemist. On the morning of 30th, Professor rekek gave a special lecture for postgraduates entitled molecular behavior in small spaces, which specifically expounded the formation of encapsulated complexes by molecular recognition of synthetic receptors. His unique views on supramolecular chemistry gave teachers and students a new perspective on supramolecular chemistry. On the morning of 31st, Professor Rebek exchanged scientific research work with master Nan. During his visit, Professor Julius rebke visited Zijin Mountain and Xuanwu Lake in Nanjing.
