At the invitation of Professor Wang leyong, as part of his trip to China, Professor Jeffery Davis of the University of Maryland (USA) visited Nanjing University and the research group on October 13. Professor Jeffery Davis is an internationally renowned supramolecular chemist. On the morning of the 13th, Professor Jeffry gave a special lecture for postgraduates entitled synthetic G-quadruplexes: self assembled ionophores and ion transporters that function in membranes and in hydrogels, which specifically expounded the ion channel composed of guanine g hydrogen bond. His unique views on supramolecular chemistry gave teachers and students a new perspective on supramolecular chemistry. During this period, Professor Jeffery Davis had a lively discussion with teachers and students, and everyone gained a lot.
