At the invitation of Professor Leyong Wang, Dr. Zhibo Liu (School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, Peking University) visited Nanjing on July 15 and gave an academic report. Dr. Zhibo Liu is an alumnus of Nanjing University. He obtained a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Nanjing University in 2010. He then went to the University of British Columbia to study for a doctorate degree, specializing in radiochemistry. He developed an 18F radiolabeling platform based on boron trifluoride groups. Received a doctorate in 2014. Subsequently, Dr. Zhibo Liu went to the National Institutes of Health and won the Michael J. Welch Postdoctoral Award in 2015. He realized the clinical transformation of the 18F labeling method of boron trifluoride and successfully applied 18F-boramine acid in Early diagnosis of brain tumors. At 10 am on July 15th (Friday), Prof. Zhibo Liu gave a postgraduate special report entitled Boramino Acid as A Cancer Marker for PET Imaging in the H201 lecture hall of Jiang Wenruo, Xianlin Chemical Building. Dr. Zhibo Liu gave a detailed introduction to his 18F radiation The work of marking allows everyone to understand the latest frontier of tumor imaging diagnosis.
