Coordination-Driven Self-Assembly of Photo- and Redox-Active Metallacycles and Cages

2015-07-17

At the invitation of Professor Wang leyong, Dr. Timothy R. cook of the State University of New York, buffalo, visited Nanjing University on July 16 and further communicated with the members of the research group. Dr. Timothy R. cook is committed to the research of metal heterocycles.

At 10 a.m. on the 17th, Dr. Timothy R. cook gave a presentation entitled coordination driven self assembly of photo - and redox active metals and cages in the lecture hall on the third floor of the chemical building The special report of graduate students specifically expounds the metal heterocycles in light response and redox response. It plays a good reference and demonstration role for our research group's research on supramolecules, broadens the students' thinking and gives the whole group a new thinking direction.

During the visit, Dr. Timothy R. cook explained enthusiastically, was very interested in the history of Nanjing, and visited Nanjing Jiming temple, Confucius Temple and other scenic spots in the afternoon of the 17th.
