Invited by Professor Leyong Wang and Associate Professor Juli Qiang, Prof. Rafal Klajn（The Weizmann Institute of Science, Department of Organic Chemistry，Israel）visited Nanjing on Nov. 7th and gave an academic report. Rafal Klajn mainly studies light-responsive supramolecular nanoparticles and gels, and is dedicated to the study of supramolecular catalysis. At 10:00 on Nov.8th, Prof. Rafal Klajn gave a special report for graduate students entitled Light-controlled supramolecular interactions between ligand-functionalized nanoparticles in the meeting room H201 of Xianlin Chemistry Building. He introduced us the current research and application of supramolecular nanoparticles in detail. The report was simple but profound. After that, Prof. Rafal Klajn actively discussed the application and prospects of supramolecular catalysis with teachers and students on site. In the afternoon of the same day, Prof. Rafal Klajn and members of the research group had a group discussion at E508 about the related issues of supramolecular nanomaterials.
