At the invitation of Prof. Leyong Wang, Prof. Wensheng Zhong from National Chiao Tung University (Taiwan) visited Nanjing on October 29 and visited the famous Scenic spots of Bauhinia Mountain and The Mausoleum of Sun Yat-sen with his research team. Professor Zhong has devoted himself to the research of dicalixarene.
At 14pm on November 2nd, Professor Zhong wen-sheng gave a lecture entitled Chromogenic and Ditopic Fluorescent Sensing of Heavy Metal Ions Based on Functionalized Ions at Lecture Hall H201, Xianlin Chemistry Building Calix[4] Arenes and Biscalix[4] Arenes, specifically elaborated the unique insights and research of Professor Zhong Wensheng's research group on Calix arenes. For our research group members in the field of supramolecular research has a good reference and demonstration role, the long road of scientific research is bound to be difficult and bumpy, but the fruit at the end of this thorny road is sweet and delicious. At the same time, Professor Zhong had an in-depth discussion with the students in the seminar, which made us appreciate the talents of Taiwan.
