2021-04-10

At the invitation of Prof. Wang Leyong, Prof. Zeng Huaqiang (Northwestern Polytechnical University) visited Nanjing from Apr. 7th to Apr. 9th and gave a lecture on Apr. 8th.

At 9:00 am on April 8th (Thursday), Prof. Zeng Huaqiang gave a postgraduate special report entitled Construction and Functional Application of new artificial transmembrane Transporter in meeting room G211, Xianlin Chemistry Building.  Prof. Huaqiang Zeng summarized the latest attempts and progress in the development of highly selective artificial transmembrane transporters, and briefly described the new transmembrane transport mechanisms based on molecular swing, molecular fisherman, molecular tetrahedron and molecular swimming pool, which break through the traditional boundaries of nature (channel or carrier).  After the lecture, the audience asked questions and discussed.

Zeng Huaqiang undergraduate course graduation in 1996, a professor at China university of science and technology, in 2002 graduated from the state university of New York at buffalo, Dr Since 2006 has chemistry department at the national university of Singapore, Singapore science and biological engineering and technology research institute, Singapore nano biological laboratories engaged in based on organic supramolecular chemical biology,  The research focuses on the construction of biomimetic artificial channel molecules with novel structures and unique functions and their applications in anticancer, seawater desalination and DNA sequencing.  In October 2011, Nature Chemistry's Sceptical Chymist was selected.  2013 Was selected as the Emerging Investigators of the Year 2013 by Chemical Communications, a leading journal in chemistry.
