
Invited by Prof. Leyong Wang and Prof. Yixiang Cheng, Prof. Chuanfeng Chen (Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences) visited Nanjing on May 14th to give an academic report.
At 10:00 am, May 14th (Friday), Professor Chen Chuanfeng gave a postgraduate special report entitled Research on the Identification and Assembly of New Macrocyclic aromatic Hydrocarbons in Xianlin Chemistry Building H201. In the report, Professor Chen chuan-feng mainly explained the synthesis, preparation and assembly of macrorings, everyone listened with relish. After the report, everyone actively communicated with Professor Chen Chuanfeng about the big ring.
Professor Chen chuanfeng graduated from Anhui Normal University in 1996. He graduated from Hangzhou University with a master's degree in 1989. From 1994 to 1996, he was a postdoctoral fellow at institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. From 1996 to 1998, he worked as an associate researcher in Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. From 1998 to 2001, he was a postdoctoral fellow and visiting scholar at university of New Mexico. From 2001 to present, he has been working in the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences as a researcher and doctoral supervisor, deputy director of the Key Laboratory of Molecular Recognition and Function (2012), and post Professor of University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (2014). His research interests include supramolecular chemistry and (chiral) organic luminescent materials chemistry based on novel synthetic macroring agents.
