Congratulations: 4th Asia-Oceania Sonochemical Society Conference held in Nanjing University

On September 19, 2019, the 4th Asia-Oceania Sonochemical Society Conference was held in our university. Yajun Zou, Vice President of Nanjing University, attended and delivered a speech. The conference was co-sponsored by the State Key Laboratory of Life Analytical Chemistry, College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, and the Key Laboratory of Modern Acoustic Education, College of Physics. The chairmen were Professor Junjie Zhu, College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, and Professor Xiaojun Liu, College of Physics. The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Liu Xiaojun.

In his speech, Zou Yajun introduced the 100-year history of Nanjing University and the close relationship between Nanjing University and the development of International sonochemistry. Professor Muthupandian Ashokkumar, Chairman of Asia-Oceania Academy of Sonochemistry and University of Melbourne, reviewed the development of Sonochemistry, and congratulated and thanked the hosting of the conference at Nanjing University.

During the conference, more than 150 delegates from all over the world exchange views on the research of sonochemistry in the fields of physics, materials, chemistry, biomedicine, environment and food.
